Privacy Information

It goes without saying that we take all matters relating to data protection very seriously. It is very important to us to protect the privacy of the users of our website at all times. If and to the extent that the user voluntarily provides personal data, this will be collected and stored in accordance with the statutory data protection provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). Of course, all data will be treated confidentially. With the following data protection information, we would like to explain in more detail how data is handled.

1. Access data without personal reference

In order to improve the visit to our website, certain access data is collected and stored without it being possible to establish a personal reference to this data. As soon as a file is requested from a website by the user, access data is collected and stored by default.

The data set regularly consists of:

   - the page from which the file was requested,

   - the name of the file,

   - the date and time of the request,

   - the length of stay,

   - the amount of data transferred,

   - the access status (i.e. whether the file was transferred or possibly not found

     etc.),

   - the IP address of the requesting computer

   - a description of the type and version of the web browser used,

   - the installed operating system and the set resolution.

The data sets collected are used exclusively for internal statistical purposes and, in some cases, we use external service providers to process your data. These have been carefully selected and commissioned by us, are bound by our instructions and are regularly checked. Furthermore, we can pass on your personal data to third parties if we offer contracts or similar services together with partners.

2. Collection and storage of personal data

Personal data is only collected and stored when using our website if the user provides it to us by email or via the contact form on our website. If the purpose of use no longer applies, the data will be deleted.

3. Use of Personal Information

All personal data will be used without the user's separate consent solely for the processing of services that may be requested.

In addition, we automatically collect personal data within the scope of the intended purpose with regard to any inquiries made and process them in an automated file. For this purpose, the data can also be transferred to a service data center for further order data processing as well as to companies affiliated with us.

The data collected will not be used for advertising, market or opinion research purposes without the user's consent. Regarding the receipt of a newsletter, reference is made to the following statements under Section 4.

Insofar as requested for the purpose of fulfilling legal powers (e.g. for the purpose of criminal prosecution), we will provide the responsible authorities with information about the user's data in individual cases.

4. Newsletters

We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to register for our newsletter. This means that after you have provided your e-mail address, we will send you a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address provided, in which we ask you to confirm that you wish the newsletter to be sent. If you do not confirm this within 24 hours, your registration will be automatically deleted. If you confirm your wish to receive the newsletter, we will store your e-mail address until you unsubscribe from the newsletter. The storage serves the sole purpose of being able to send you the newsletter. Furthermore, we store your IP addresses and the times when registering and confirming in order to prevent misuse of your personal data.

The only mandatory information for sending the newsletter is the e-mail address. Providing further, separately marked information is voluntary and is only used to personalize the newsletter. This data will also be completely deleted upon revocation.

You can revoke your consent to the sending of the newsletter at any time. You can declare your revocation by clicking on the link provided in every newsletter e-mail, by e-mail to gerrit.oberle@outlook.de or by sending a message to the contact details given in the imprint or under point 5. The data you provide will not be passed on to other third parties.

The consent you have given is worded as follows:

“ Yes, I consent to receiving the newsletter with up-to-date information about products and services.”

We would like to point out that we evaluate your user behavior when sending the newsletter. For this evaluation, the e-mails sent contain so-called web beacons, also known as tracking pixels. These are one-pixel image files that link to our website and enable us to evaluate your user behavior. This is done by collecting the data mentioned in section 1.2 as well as web beacons, which are assigned to your e-mail address and linked to your own ID. The data is only collected in a pseudonymised form, so the IDs are not linked to your other personal data, so direct personal reference is ruled out.

5. Information, correction, blocking and deletion of personal data

The user can request information about the data he may have stored free of charge at any time. You may also have the right to have the stored data corrected, blocked or deleted. If deletion conflicts with statutory or contractual retention requirements, the data will be blocked.

At the request of the user, we will provide complete and free information about the data stored about him or his company at any time, correct, block or delete data and, of course, be happy to answer any questions about the collection, storage and use of data.

Braun-steine GmbH is responsible for data protection. We are available to every user of our website at any time for information about the stored data and for further questions about data protection. The user can contact the following office responsible for all matters of data protection at any time:

6. Data Security

Personal data is regularly transmitted with a secure SSL connection and encrypted using the SSL method over the Internet. SSL encryption protects personal data from unauthorized access. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is a protocol for encrypting messages on the Internet, which offers a particularly high level of security for data transmission.

In addition, our website and our other systems are secured by technical and organizational measures against the loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of user data by unauthorized persons. Despite regular checks, complete protection against all hazards is not possible.

7.Cookies

Our website uses cookies to make the operation of this website easier and more user-friendly. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser saves on the user's computer. If the user calls up the corresponding page again later, cookies enable the computer to be recognized. As a result, once the data has been entered, it is already available when you fill out the inquiry form again, for example.

Cookies are regularly used, which are automatically deleted from the user's hard drive after the Internet browser is closed (so-called session cookies). Other cookies can remain on the user's computer and cause it to be recognized the next time the user visits (so-called permanent cookies). The user can change the storage of cookies in the browser settings of his computer at any time. To do this, the “do not accept cookies” function must be activated. However, this can also mean that the website can no longer be used to its full extent.

8.Google Analytics

This operator's website uses Google Analytics. This is a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files which are stored on the user's computer and which enable an analysis of the use of the website by the user.

The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. If IP anonymization is activated on this website, the IP address of the user will be shortened beforehand by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. It is pointed out that this website uses Google Analytics with the extension "_anonymizeIp()" and the IP addresses are therefore only processed in abbreviated form, so that personal identification is impossible.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services related to the use of the website and the Internet to the website operator. The IP address transmitted by the user's browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. The user can prevent the storage of cookies by setting his  browser software accordingly. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to use all the functions of this website to their full extent.

The user can also prevent the data generated by the cookie and related to his use of the website (including your IP address) being sent to Google and the processing of this data by Google by using the browser plug-in available under the following link downloads and installs: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de .
